(Scene: Far beyond the reaches of Earth, YOU—a colossal Asteroid—drift through the boundless stretch of space. Your form is formless, an indomitable mass, raw and relentless, hurtling forward with unstoppable force, leaving chaos in your wake.)
You: Almost there. It’s been a long journey, hasn’t it? I can barely remember how it all started—what I was like back then. It was just a spark, and before I knew it, I was already on my way. I’ve changed. Stronger now. But even that… it’s not enough. Not yet… but there’s still time.
(You move relentlessly through space, the galaxies, the solar systems, all blur past you. With every moment, you feel your power growing.)
You: I can feel it now. Deep inside, something’s waking up. I can’t quite explain it, but it’s as if I’ve been reborn. But rebirth takes time. Every change does.
(You gaze ahead, the vast emptiness stretching before you—endless, infinite.)
You: So far, I’m still intact, gathering energy, inching toward a new level. This journey’s become so automatic now, I don’t even think about it. The destination? It doesn’t matter. But sometimes… when I stop focusing, it feels like nothing’s changing. The universe unfolds around me—stars, systems, galaxies—endless. But it’s all monotonous. I barely feel anything anymore.
(You glide past clusters of stars, absorbing the quiet hum of the universe around you.)
You: But maybe it’s not as dull as I think. Maybe if I really paid attention, I’d see more. Every corner of space has its own emotion—sometimes angry, sometimes calm, sometimes… just there. No emotion at all. Strange. I’m not ungrateful for what I see—it’s just that at this speed, nothing sticks. Nothing stays with you when you travel at this speed. No memories. No feelings.
(A beat.)
You: Besides, what I’m going to accomplish is far more important than stopping to appreciate the view. My destination… it’s the only thing that matters.
(You watch a group of comets streak by, their bright tails illuminating the dark void.)
You: Better in numbers, I guess. Alone, they’re vulnerable. But even as a group, it’s pathetic. For me? My size, my power? I can’t afford to join a pack. We’re on different paths. The journey’s personal—too personal. Teaming up slows you down when you reach a certain point.
(You recall a moment—an unexpected collision with another massive asteroid. The force of the impact nearly shattered your course.)
You: That crash… didn’t see it coming. A giant asteroid, blocking my way. It nearly destroyed everything. Set me back. Almost derailed my entire purpose. But I didn’t let it stop me. I destroyed it. And in the wreckage, I rebuilt myself—stronger. The setback? It hurt. But it made me stronger. And now, when I reach my destination, I’ll be more powerful than ever.
(Your speed picks up again, energy coursing through you. You pass into a new region of space, a strange new energy in the air. Your destination draws closer.)
You: Yes, this is different. I can feel it. The journey’s almost over. A few light-years, maybe less. I’ve lost count. I’ve been reserving my energy. Not sure if I was on the right course at times. Wondering if all this was worth it. I still don’t know. But you never know until you start. Am I tired? Yes. But will I stop? No. Fatigue is a feeling. Giving up? That’s the real failure.
(You surge forward, pushing harder. The final stretch is near.)
You: It’s strange. Every time I start to feel the weariness, a fresh burst of energy comes. It’s like a clockwork mechanism. Every time. The fatigue disappears, replaced by something stronger, something faster. It’s like I can always count on it. All I need to do is keep moving. Keep waiting. The power will return.
(You pass the outer edges of the solar system, the planets—Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Mars—flicker into view. Then, the blue Earth appears before you.)
You: This is it. Earth. The moment I’ve been waiting for. Everything I’ve done, every choice, every twist and turn, all leads to this. The energy… it’s rising. My energy. It’s time. All the uncertainty, all the hesitation—it’s gone now. Everything is as it should be.
(You accelerate, nearing full speed, your body vibrating with power.)
You: Consistency. That’s the key. I’ve stayed true to my path, even when doubts crept in. And now, at this final moment, I’m sure. Those doubts were nothing. I’ve proven that.
(You check every detail: the angle of collision, speed, orbiting meteors and comets, the energy flow, and the resistance of Earth’s atmosphere. You ensure everything aligns perfectly for the direct strike, making sure nothing can hinder your success and glory.)
(You are at 100% speed. You approach Earth’s atmosphere, the moment of impact drawing near.)
You: Three… two… one…
(A pause.)
You: Now!
(You surge forward, your full might unleashed, as you break through Earth’s atmosphere. The final impact is imminent.)
(In the blink of an eye, you crash into Earth’s surface, the sheer force of the collision wiping out Earth entirely, leaving no trace behind.)
