The Hall of Brains (Part 2)

"No. I’m staying."

(The sound of heavy boots and the hum of drones grows louder. The enemy is closing in.)

You: They’re coming, Mia. We don’t have much time.

Mia: I can’t lose him again. He’s the reason I came to this land.

You: Mia…

(She turns to look at you, her glowing eyes softening. For a moment, it feels like she’s bidding you a final goodbye.)

You: I don’t have anyone either. I understand… (resigned) Looks like I won’t make it out of this one.

Mia: (startled) I can’t lose him, but... I can’t lose you, either. I’ll hold them off. You run!

You: (gripping your weapon tightly) No. I’m staying. I’m not leaving you to do this alone.

(The door bursts open, revealing armored soldiers and drones with glowing sensors. The hall’s lights flicker as the first shots are fired. You step forward, standing beside Mia, your small frame radiating resolve.)

You: We fight together, no matter what.

(Mia’s blue eyes meet yours. She nods, and the two of you stand side by side, ready to face the enemy to the end.)
