Young woman with long hair holds a drink, talking to a man in a suit at a bar. Warm colors, bottles on shelves, casual atmosphere.
"She was special, and I loved her."

(The Girl’s expression shifts from curiosity to shock. Her hand lingers near her drink as she absorbs what you’ve just said.)

Girl: Oh my God... I’m so sorry.

You: After she was gone, the rest of us drifted apart. I haven’t seen any of them since.

(You stare down at your drink, the weight of the memory heavy in the silence.)

Girl: That must have been so painful.

You: It was. She was special, and I loved her. But back then, I was scared, and it wasn’t accepted, so I pushed her away. I regret that now.

(You glance up at the Girl, eyes soft with regret. She gives you a quiet, understanding look.)

Girl: I can feel how much she meant to you.

You: I wish I could’ve been born in your time. Maybe things would’ve turned out differently.

Girl: Things are so different now.

You: Time passes, but she’ll always have a place in my heart.
