Po in blue robes walks toward ancient temples in a desert setting, evoking curiosity and adventure. Mountains loom in the background.
"Guess… you didn’t wanna stick around with a boy like me, huh?"

You: There… no more bugs.

(Her body shudders slightly, and you can see the faintest spark of life returning to her form. She tries to lift her hand to touch you. Her fingers twitch toward you but fall short.)

Mia: You saved me.

You: It’s just nice to talk with you…

(Exhausted from hours of work, you lean against her broken frame, your head resting on the cold metal of her shoulder. You drift into sleep, the weight of the night pressing in around you.)

(Morning. You stir, blinking as sunlight filters through the broken roof of the temple.)

You: Mia…?

(You look around. The space where she lay is empty. Your heart sinks.)

You: Did the police get her?

(You sit there for a moment, staring at the spot she occupied. The silence of the temple feels heavier now.)

You: Guess… you didn’t wanna stick around with a boy like me, huh?

(Standing up, you dust yourself off. Your gaze lingers on the fire, now reduced to glowing embers.)

You: Can’t be late… not again.

(With a final glance at the empty space, you step out into the blinding light of the outside world, the harsh reality of the plant’s strict schedule pulling you forward.)
