Captain Jun and Commander face off in a dimly lit control room. Blue screens display data. Atmosphere is tense and futuristic.
"Protocol? We’re talking about Raf—"

(Scene: The Control Room at Headquarters. ED stands across from the COMMANDER, his fists clenched. The door bursts open as YOU rush in, eyes glistening with tears and breath uneven.)

You: What’s happening? I heard Raf’s been hit.

Commander: He’s out of range. Damaged.

Ed: Commander, we need to act. If Raf is out there, he could be in serious trouble.

You: Let me take my team. I know Raf better than anyone—he needs us.

Commander: That’s not an option. We’ve deployed a team for the search. It’s protocol.

You: Protocol? We’re talking about Raf—

Ed: Commander, Raf wouldn’t just vanish. You know that as well as I do; he’s too skilled for that.

Commander: We follow the plan. The boundary exists for a reason.

(Ed’s eyes narrow as he studies the Commander. There’s a flicker of something unspoken, but he holds his tongue for now.)
