Walking in the Air - Cover | The Snowman

I first watched The Snowman (1982) when I was around eight years old. I don’t remember every detail of the story, but one moment has stayed with me forever—the boy and the snowman soaring through the night sky toward the North Pole as Walking in the Air plays in the background.

The most magical part for me is when they glide over the open sea. A giant whale rises from the depths, its massive tail breaking the surface in a breathtaking display. That scene, paired with Howard Blake’s beautifully composed melody, felt like pure magic—and even now, I can still see it so vividly.

This film is truly a masterpiece, and this cover is my tribute to its timeless beauty. I hope it brings you the same sense of wonder and nostalgia.
